Glass Warrior Wins the Launceston Cup!
We are absolutely thrilled to share that Glass Warrior has won the 2021 Ladbrokes Launceston Cup in a blanket finish.
It was a textbook ride by Siggy Carr to take out the win in one of the closest Cup finishes in recent memory. It was so close, John was overheard saying “I can't believe it but we must have won - everyone is cheering.” The win it’s John’s first for the Launceston Cup. A big thank you also goes to the owners of Glass Warrior for sticking by her and believing she could do it! She proved her strength and fight on the day.
It was an equally busy and exciting day for the entire JKB Team, and as always we can’t thank each and everyone of them enough for all their hard work, dedication and tireless hours spent prepping our horses for the big day, before making sure everything flows seamlessly at the track.
It’s certainly been a really rewarding start to 2021 for the JKB Racing team and we look forward to continued success throughout the year as we start to introduce some of our 2YO crop, and work with our new yearlings.
