Rob Collis

Rob brings a diverse and extensive background in both Harness and Thoroughbred racing to our team. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in the Harness racing industry, Rob developed a passion for horses from a young age. His early experiences in the Harness racing world were further solidified when he earned his own Harness Trainers Licence, showcasing his dedication and expertise in the field.

Throughout his career, Rob has gained valuable experience working at Thoroughbred studs in both Victoria and Tasmania. His primary responsibilities included looking after and handling stallions and preparing yearlings for sale. His hands-on experience with these crucial aspects of horse breeding and training has given him a deep understanding of the industry and its demands.

Rob is a highly valued member of our ground staff, where his meticulous attention to detail ensures that all our facilities are clean and well-maintained for the welfare of our horses. His commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our stable of horses is evident in the quality of his work, and his efforts contribute significantly to the overall success of our operations here at JKB Racing.
