Laura Blacker

Laura has been immersed in the world of horses from a very young age, thanks to her parents' guidance. Her extensive experience includes Yearling Prep and collaboration with various trainers in the Tasmanian Racing Industry. Laura is always a familiar face at the races, always seen preparing our runners to perform their best on the track

Currently managing a stable under John, Laura oversees the daily work of each horse, ensuring they are in top condition and promptly reporting any issues to the wider JKB team. Her ambition is to become a trainer in her own right, and she eagerly learns from her father, John, and her uncle, Troy.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys riding her three off-the-Track-Racehorses, which have become wonderful pleasure horses.
